This is one of the reservoirs at Elan Valley in Wales. These reservoirs provide most of the drinking water for Birmingham...
and before anyone says anything, This is as straight as I can get it!!!

This is a link which will tell you why the dams were built in the 19Th century to provide water for Birmingham where I live. Frankley reservoir where the water it pumped to is about two miles from where I live and is a local beauty spot.

Yes it really is. At that time we had lovely blue sky but we moved on a few miles and it became cold and overcast. I don't know if this would have been so blue then. Thanks for the
