Captured

There is a little story behind this photo. While on this years holiday to Cornwall (UK) my husband and I went to visit the old 'Bodmin Jail'. This was a very old jail which is no longer in use and now classed as 'A Tourist Attraction.
In the 17th/18th century people were hanged there for the most pathetic of reasons. Stealing a loaf of bread or vegetables from a farmer's field. People did this because they were starving. Even children weren't spared. They would be sentenced to hard labour. It is a very imposing building. One of the wings that is derelict is going to be turned into a hotel next year. Now I wouldn't want to stay there!!
So back to the flower. On the way out at the bottom of the drive, there is the old Warden's house. Flowers were cascading over the wall. I took this with my new little Canon and although it was just set to automatic I think it came out well. Hence the title 'Captured'. Paul loves this photo so I've put it up for him
