My first christmas

This is me on my first Christmas... 1953.. 11 months & 2 weeks old. If you look close on the left hand side of the photo you can just see the foot of my teddy that I have used in some of my photos.
The Christmas tree at the time of this photo was at least 50 years old. My dad had bought it off a man that had it on a barrow that played music as the tree turned round. So my dad told us... I even had this tree when I first got married for our 1st Christmas. We bought a new one the year after though and this got passed to my brother.
This is how I remember my Christmases as a little girl. The old tree in the bay window with tinsel and cotton wool for snow.... ahh those were the days. One for you Nigel!
